I bought a new computer that runs on windows 10.  I've installed classic shell but apparently it is loosing support because Microsoft keeps making changes in their updates that require classic shell to be constantly revised.

Any suggestion or am I just a dead duck so to speak and will have to "learn" windows 10.

I've been using it since going to Win 10, absolutely no problems. What you'll have is almost all the stuff you had with Win 7 and almost all the stuff that's available in win 10 (or maybe all the stuff). You can learn the Win10 features at your convenience, pretty simple really. It's really worth the move.

Been using classic shell in Windows 10 since day one. No issue at all.

Classic shell certainly is one way to go.
