For your information: I was in need of a 2TB SSD and they are all very expensive. I cam across Vectotech rapid 2TB SSD. Apparently a USA based company and the price of their external SSD was very reasonable over Amazon. Housing is high quality plastic. I decided to get one of these and i think it is an excellent drive, backed up by a very good support. I had a few questions and got a reply literally in minutes. Worth to have a look at if you are in the market for an external SSD. They also make a 4TB SSD version but i believe it is only available in the USA.

Both Vectotech SSD's are slower, by 90Mb/s than the Samsung T5's that have a usb-c interface rather than a m/usb-b interface. And they are 220Mb/s slower than the Glyph Atom RAID Gold, 2TB SSD. It does depend on whether you simply want a reasonably fast SSD or a really fast SSD. I admit there aren't many 4TB models around of either type and the Vectotech 4TB is still priced pretty high.
