How much more do you pay for that speed? - about double if my quick check is correct.E.J. No, U.2 is a new multilane PCI interface that drives can be attached to. It's not mainstream but has some advantages, mainly a smaller footprint on the motherboard. U.2 drives are drives that plug directly into this interface - they do look a little like traditional SSDs. Traditional SSDs are SATA SSDspdschu wrote:What about U.2 drives?
