I have a large Lightroom 6 database that I stopped using about 8 months ago when I started using Capture One. I don't photograph as often as  I used to so I have a hard time remembering how to do things in Capture One. I am getting an A7Riii soon and have been contemplating   the Adobe subscription  as Lightroom while inferior is so much more convenient.

Can I run Lightroom 6--and the subscription version on the same computer (Keeping catalogs separate) Are there any caveats?

Thanks

Just curious.
If you are going to get the subscription version, why wouldn't you convert your V6 catalog and use the new version? It has a lot of features not available in V6.

My thinking was that if I let my subscription lapse then I thought I would be sunk.

Adobe would need to pay me a monthly subscription fee to get me to switch from Capture One to Lightroom :D ;)
