All of a sudden the monitor began to flicker and discoloring lines appeared. I have had no problems prior. I wonder if it is the monitor or graphic card or? It's on the older side so it wouldn't surprise me. MultiSync P221W on a windows 10.

Any suggestions ?

Updated - i thought a screen capture would show the lines but apparently not.....

Check the monitor cable. Since the screen capture didn't replicate the problem, it is less likely to be the graphics card. Most likely it's a monitor gone bad or a cable that is not seated properly.
