Up until recently, whenever I made changes in the develop module of LR6 and right-click to "Edit in PS", LR created a separate file with the same name and -Edit appended to it.  Over the past two days, it has stopped doing this, and moreover when I open my LR-edited image in PS by this method, it appears without any of the edits applied (when I check the folder the images resides, there is no -Edit file, nor is there one anywhere else on my Mac).  Any idea what is going on?  I guess it is possible I turned something off, but I cannot find a setting to force LR to create the -Edit file.  Any help is greatly appreciated – TIA.
Best wishes,

Martin

I think it only does that for non-Adobe software. It doesn't do it for my CC2018. I think its because LR can pass the original RAW file to PS. DxO has a plugin that will pass the RAW file from LR to DxO and it shows up as a Canon .CR2. Most "Edit In" operations involve creating a TIFF file.

Thanks JR but I only use Adobe software (LR to PS) and as I said, up until just recently, whenever I click "Edit in PS" from LR, the latter generated a 2nd copy of the file (filename-Edit.dng). Now LR does not do this, and more importantly, the edits I make in the Develop module of LR do NOT appear in the file that opens in PS.
Best wishes,

Martin

Thanks again JR – I just reset my warnings preferences in LR and now she is behaving as expected. I appreciate your help.
Best wishes,

Martin
