Anyone have any experience or recommendations for internal hard drives with 6TB or more capacity?
I've been using 4TB's for quite a while with no issues but looking for more space now without stacking.  Thanks, Jim

Been using Seagate 10TB Enterprise Class drive, no problems of late but that's just 6 months or so. I've also been using both 6TB and 8TB standard and enterprise drives from HGST - I've had 7 of each of those in service (standard on the 6TB and enterprise on the 8TB) with no issues for a couple of years - knocking on wood. The key to drive longevity is aggressive cooling and never ever move them, jostle them, bump them, while spinning.

Thanks E.J. Just what I was looking for. I learned from you long ago about the cooling too. Even my external drives that I use are large enclosures with 2 fans. Thanks, Jim
