"The most significant improvement will be that you would have Lightroom with the CC package and it is streets ahead of ARC in Photoshop and is much more powerful and opens up a diverse range of tools to enable time and quality improvements in your processing workflow."

This is from a previous thread.  I had not heard that ACR was better or even different in Lightroom than Photoshop CC and would like to hear some specifics if anyone has any.  Thanks in advance.

Almost impossible to read the above due to inclusion of BBS tags but he wasn't saying that at all. he is saying that CC has a lot of features that CS6 does not in ACR. In CC, the LR and ACR versions are the same, it's just a different user interface. however CS6 doesn't have some of the features that have been added and also LR6 does not have all of the features that LR CC has despite Adobe promising that LR perpetual and LR subscription would stay in sync.
