Hello fellow Photographers..
Consider me a true novice when it comes to figuring out computer software. Grrrrr why cant the world be simple..

I cant open up my D500 Files in CS6 or Bridge.

Can anyone help or guide me through the steps to make this happen? I understand frm what I have read I need a converter program, however I do not know which one, and after I download it, will everything just work out in CS6 and bridge?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) 9.5 to open raw files from the D500, and you have to have Photoshop CC to work with that version of ACR.  However, you can use the free DNG converter to convert NEF files to DNG which will then open in Photoshop 6.
