RAW file access w/Microsoft

Does anyone know if Microsoft has come up with a patch to open RAW files from Canon 7DII in Windows? I can open those from the 7D but not the 7DII; have downloaded all the apparent new patches but still no luck. I'm reviewing in Bridge right now but it's not as convenient.

Apparently not -- Canon RAW Codec 1.10.0 shows support for only 7D. The 7D II is not listed.

I think this third party CODEC might work. It's worth a try. I use their image browser and it does support 7D2 files:
