I haven't been doing much with Photoshop lately and I have forgotten a step. When using the Quick Selection tool, after I make the selection and make any changes, how do I deselect the tool and make the "dotted line" disappear?

That should be "Command-D (for de-select) on MAC".
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
