Is there interest in a Great Plains forum?

My thought is KS, MO, NE, OK, ND, SD. IA would be a nice addition but is already covered in the Great Lakes forum.

Great oppurtunity to meet new people and share locations and ideas!

I'm a bit late in replying, but I would sure be interested. KS doesn't even have a representative forum at all right now. I've taken 95% of my photos in the Great Plains and I can say that this region is certainly a wonderful spot to photograph.

Well, you can keep an eye out in the forums for other photographers in the proposed chapter area and ask them if they're interested, too! Have them indicate their interest in this thread. The chapters are getting busier with time, so it's only a matter of time before there are enough to start a forum of your own.

Keep us posted - thanks!

Hi, Brent! Let's see if a few more people check in first. Even with 15-20 people in an area it's still hard to keep a regional chapter forum going. So if you see anyone from your area on the forums, maybe send them a message to ask them to post their interest here. Thanks!

I recently joined here and should probably put up an intro., but ---

-- I am currently living in Oklahoma, but Kansas is my home state. I lived in Manhattan for 18 years and was a docent on the Konza Prairie for a year before making the move to Oklahoma. I still have family located in many areas of the state, so do get back there a few times/year.

I still have many areas to explore here in Oklahoma, but would be in favor of a regional forum!

I just joined and noticed the Great Plains Chapter inquiry... how many members does it take to become a Forum?

I am from Blue Springs, MO and I'm definitely interested in the idea.

Bob
