PURPOSE
NatureScapes.Net provides regional chapter forums for territories where there is enough interest by photographers to form a chapter. You do not need to be a paid member of NatureScapes.Net to join and participate. The forums are for discussions related to the chapter territory, image posts from the territory, and to organize local outings: Nature eScapes.

CHAPTER FORUM PARTICIPATION
Please follow the site guidelines which apply to all forums, and the image posting guidelines for posting photos in the chapter forum.

OUTINGS: Nature eScapes
Outings can be as simple as one photographer mentioning he or she will be somewhere in the territory and inviting others to join up, or they can be more formally coordinated events planned at least three months in advance so that more people can participate. Photographers from other areas often travel and may wish to join in with other area outings. The chapters provide a networking system to allow photographers to meet up with others and visit some places they might not be familiar with.

All outings are organized by independent individuals and, therefore, NatureScapes.Net cannot be, and is not, responsible for the conduct of these individuals or other outing attendees. You are solely responsible for your conduct while participating at an outing, and your participation at any outing is at your own risk.

MODERATORS
Moderators for the chapter forums are there to post announcements, ensure site guidelines are met, and answer any questions you may have. There may be more than one moderator assigned per forum, and moderation is assigned when someone volunteers to fulfill the role and has no conflicts in performing that role.

COORDINATORS
There may be one or more chapter coordinators who organize the formal outings. They are familiar with the region, the places to visit for photography, and have volunteered their time to help in this manner. Coordinators of a chapter should communicate with each other to ensure the outings do not conflict with each other time-wise. Primary coordinators should be present at the outings they coordinate.

NEW CHAPTERS
To form a new chapter, please feel free to start a new post in “Start a Regional Chapter!” Email us if there is enough interest in that region and a forum will be provided! We ask that there be at least ten photographers interested to start, and we will request what you propose for the area territory before setting it up.

Hope you are able to participate in a regional chapter!
