Mexico has more species of birds than any other country in the Western Hemisphere. Are there enough birding enthusiasts to support a chapter here in Mexico? Let me know....

Susan,

There are a number of folks from Mexico, I think some of them post in the Southern California chapter. But, if there are enough people, we could do something separate for Mexico. Definitely some great birds there! :D

Thanks for mentioning it, Heather. The response has been underwhelming, to say the least, but maybe someone will stumble on this post one day and we can get things rolling.

Thanks again...... Susan

Hi Susan,
Me and my son Pablo are avid bird photographers and we live in Mexico City.
Unfortunately there are not too many bird watchers or bird lovers in Mexico, but it is an activity that is slowly increasing.
Where in Mexico do you live?
Maybe if not starting a new chapter we could plan picture session together.
Regards.

WOW!
I did not see how old the original posting was.
I hope my answer is not too late.
