any interest in a central florida chapter. I am in st. petersburg and frequently shoot Ft. Desota, Venice Rookery, Merritt Island, Estero Lagoon, Sawgrass Park, St. Pete Pier, etc. I am also interested in Everglades, Wakodo, Alligator Farm, etc but thought an active local chapter would be in order. I would be interested in leading a local chapter and help coordinate frequent photo outings (maybe at times followed by breakfast and digital photo sharing). :?:

John, I am interested in getting involved or just getting out. I live in Merritt Island. I don't mind traveling at all for a great area.
Kind Regards,

Hi John

Although I'm involved in the Florida Chapter, I will be more than happy to participate and help on a Central Florida Chapter. Based in Lakeland, I know pretty well all the birding sites in the area. Places I frequently visit include Joe Overstreet, Lake Kissimmee, Kissimmee SP, Saddle Creek, Lake Hollingdworth, Viera Wetlands and the Green Swamp. YEs it will be more than intersting to have updates and outings to this places. Count on me.
