Late, that evening, I saw something I had never seen before, an Ostrich on the dunes.

EOS 7D, 70-300 L IS @300mm, ISO 200, hand-held

Very awesome!! And dramatically profound!!! Another presentation might be a horizontal pano by cropping off the top 1/3 maybe. Great how the grasses run the whole length of the frame on the bottom. Congrats on having created such a sweet image.

This is very riveting, the fact the lines of the sand dunes all lead back to the bird make for a tremendous composition, nicely done!
