Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Landscapes Gallery, week ending 14th December, 2012!Some time ago I have this image in my mind but I never had the right light. This afternoon was metallic and cold and the sea was amazing. In this picture you can not see the horizon, it is a huge wave coming towards us.
Looks much better in hires

Great drama here, goes well with the muted tones.

Excellent combination of the sharp edges on the rocks and the soft lines of the water. The result seems out of this world. Awesome!
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

I like this composition and low angle. The colors and processing look very natural, and you've captured a ton of detail. Well done.

REALLY MEGA Jose.... The high res version is stunning... Hopefully I will do well in the MML so we can come to Asturias in February... :-)

Beautiful shot, excellent processing .... but I have a small question:
Not dragged sharpening? - I see a double line of rocks on the left spine. Or maybe it's my monitor?
Regards
Wojtek

Thanks for the comment Wojtek. These four rocks appear spines because you see them from the side, but really all have a lenght of twenty meters lenght or so. Not problem in your monitor or sharpening. Thanks again

This has a ton of interesting drama, it's just a superb scene & composition. Well done, and well deserved for the IOW!
