Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Photo and Digital Art Gallery, week ending 14th December, 2012!Hi all,

Regret being away for a few weeks - blame it on a very hectic work schedule. Have missed many nice photoart, I am sure. Here is a simple one from my side.
Image
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.”
― Helen Keller

A few textures have been blended in with a little help from Topaz Simplify – very little of the original photograph, captured with a TZ10, remains but that was the idea.

Pls share your thoughts.

Beautiful, Ashim- love the textures and underlying glow to the tones. It has a very mysterious air about it. Love you Helen Keller quote too.

A nice idea to have the closed door fading from sight into obscurity to better illustrate the quote! I feel the longer I look at it - it will disappear!
