Gorgeous image Manita -- the 'flame' shape in the clouds echoing the point of the rock is pretty cool. Impressive image!

Hi auntie Carol. thanks... We were all talking about this in school and I did watched the documentary about the Mayas on the History Channel. By the way, what is YOK-1 ?

Manita, the rock in your image made me think of the top of the stalagmite YOK-1.

YOK-1 is an ancient stalagmite in a cave in Belize. By studying it in minute detail, layer by layer, scientists have discovered a record of the climate change at the time of the destruction of the Maya. Follow this link and it explains . I found it very interesting. I hope this helps :D
