Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Photo and Digital Art Gallery, week ending 12th October, 2012!This is another specis of Hibiscus that doesn't open up after bloom as the petals reamain in a tight clsuter. This is the top-view close-up taken a few years back and reprocessed now with a couple of texture blends.

Request your thoughts and suggestions.

Great textures, design and brush-work, Ashim. Really like this! Colors are beautifully complimentary as well. This flower looks like it has been joyfully set afloat in an abstract world :) .

Nice work Ashim -- I think the textures work well, and this hibiscus is an interesting subject. I like the result very much!

Those white swirling edges sets the flower off nicely. Love the texture.

Sooo pretty Ashim. That is an eye-popping colour. Like the top-side view and splashes of colour in the BG. I might try a darkening the edges just a wee bit to make the hibiscus pop. (Just a thought):)

Very nice...I like the way the lines of the flower are sharp and give definition. Congrats on IOW!
