Superb shot, with fine detail and an awesome BG- You've got a beautiful specimen, quite religious and with a great wings pose (never seen that before)- My congrats, Fabio

What a great shot. The sharpness is super. Did you have to use a tripod?

Thanks to all :)
It's taken handheld, there's no time to set the camera on tripod

What a beautiful species. LOVE the subtle glowing color to it. Really an outstanding shot in ever way. Great detail, BG and lovely composition to lead the mantis into the frame. So good - thanks for sharing this beautiful shot.

Hi

This is indeed a stunning image – it’s not often that one get the chance to see an image of this subject with a wings open pose, and it is certainly the first time I ever recall seeing one posted here – so rather unique as well as being superb

All the best
Matthew
