Here are the rules for the St. Augustine Birding & Photofest Contest and I need some clairification......

The entry should bear a title or the name of the subject/species,
date and location the photo was taken, the photographer’s name,
address, phone number, email, camera and lens. Entries with the title
or photographer’s name embedded in the image will be disqualified.

Should I name the actual file with the 100 word describtion (Can it be that long?) or put all that info in the meta data section?

Is the last rule above, embedded in the image mean if embedded in the metadata section it is disqualified?

Thanks for sharing,
Michael W.

Michael, I would clarify with the contest directors.

My understanding is that they mean the photographer's name and/or title should not be in filename, but I could very well be wrong.

Criticism is always welcome.
