Local cat killer possibly identified

There was a search for a possible serial animal abuser after several cats were found mutilated with signs of abuse. Total of 7 cats have been found dead. In the past, people who abuse animals have also been connected to arson.
The 'cat killer' was the talk of the town for some time and no doubt had many citizens concerned. Well, a necropsy was performed on Thursday and the result is it was a predatory attack, possibly by a coyote. They are very common in Ottawa including the many outlying rural areas. While many people fear and dislike them, wildlife photographers on the other hand seem to seek coyotes out to photograph.
