and north and south! The problem is that our tourist industry draws people from all over and many just don’t understand why we have been doing so well.

Santa Fe and Masks/Social Distancing

In all honesty though, NM is right in the mix in per capita cases:

Per Capita Cases

I think that is partly because of the numerous cases in the Navajo Nation.

Yeah Gallup area is your problem area but as a whole, the state has done pretty well so far.  meanwhile ours is a giant forest fire (literally and figuratively with COVID)...

Watching CNN and seeing the Covid situation south of the border.  Never mind the Canada / USA border opening up, I wonder how this would affect the fall election.  Could it get bad enough that u-kno-who can call a postponement? Just wondering.  Maybe they'll make it mandatory to wear a mask at polling stations.

Our constitution mandates the date of the election and it is not within a President's power to change the election date.

Here’s something that is sure to be extremely controversial, but shows how serious our governor is about keeping our numbers down. It’s certainly going to be impossible to enforce and no nonresident will approve, but interstate travel is contributing 18% of our cases.
