Golden eagle fledged

A lot of work by people to make a successful hatching of 2 Golden Eagles including rescuing one at the bottom of a cliff and returning to nest after a bit of hand rearing.

Golden Eagle Nest Cam Update
[font=Arial, sans-serif]At this writing, Jim Hammond, camera supervisor, reports that both eaglets seem to be doing well. After a very critical drama of rescuing, rehabilitating and then returning one of them, Whychus, to the nest, they have both successfully fledged. The other one is named Metolius and both have been observed leaving, returning and leaving the nest again. They are thriving and learning to be “real” golden eagles.
