Flikr 1000 photo limit

Will this new policy cause cancellation of many Flikr accounts and have photographers looking for alternatives, or will it be best to just switched to paid accounts and stick with Flikr?

I'm sticking with Flickr, I started with Picasa web albums years ago and when Google fouled that up I moved my collection to Flickr. After a couple of years on Flickr as a free account I find that that the site works great for me. So I'm going to pay for the Pro account. Here is another photographer's  perspective that I tend to agree with.
