I saw this and was surprised (although I really shouldn't be) at how stupid this guy was. I hope they catch him and fine him big time. He was very very lucky this bison didn't kill him. Maybe this guy will return to Yellowstone in the fall and try this with a bull elk during the rutting season  :shock:  .That would quickly turn into a Darwinian evolution moment.

Just file this guy's video under 'Touron' in the video dictionary (that's tourist-moron for those unacquainted with the term).

Update: He's arrested and in jail now. Apparently he had other clashes with rangers in Grand Teton NP and was found in Glacier after the Yellowstone incident. Was apparently drinking before the incident.

How does one "reassure" a bison?
