Katmai's Bridge to Nowhere

Katmai National Park will begin construction on a new bridge over Brooks River this summer that will only exacerbate over-crowding. The new concessionaire plans to increase day visitation during peak season. Below is more information. If you share my concerns let your Congressman know about this boondoggle. Especially a waste considering the lack of funding and backlog of maintenance at our parks.

This is ridiculous! Next will we have up close cell phone photography platforms!!

Well, I met a person out there last year leading a group of four on an "Iphoneography" trip. Her business is worldwide "Iphoneography tours."

Wow!  I just don't know what to say.  It seems the art and craft of photography and the skill of meaningful interaction with nature has reached a level of a commodity which, IMHO, will not be good in the long run.
