Some time ago on this site there was a discussion on Australian raptors that had learned to start/spread fires. Many here were very skeptical. An American has conducted world wide research on the topic and concluded that raptors do start fires. Below is a link to an article on the research.

Very interesting. Shows the raptors have more planning in their "hunting" than many thought.
Remember, a little mild insanity keeps us healthy
