Ever since I have had my  Canon 1Dx & 5D-III I don`t feel the initial focus acquisition and tracking perform as they should, have used various settings but am not that happy with the cameras performance. Would like to get any suggestions as to the focus/tracking settings that any of you have used and feel pleased that the camera is performing as it should.
Thx Jeff A.

When the 5D III came out, I studied the auto-focus and came up with some settings and a tutorial for bird photography that I published in a photo tip. You can have a look at: http://garyluhm.net/canon-5d-mark-iii-a ... ds-flight/
