Is anyone here familiar with the "eVisa" program of the Kenyan embassy? It seems like a convenient way to get their visa (no trip to the embassy -- which is local for me, but still time consuming -- or trusting my passport to the whims of FedEx, etc.) But does the eVisa work smoothly? And how exactly do they handle the passport pictures that they probably still require?

I don't want to show up in Nairobi and be told that I don't have all the documents I need -- it'd be a bummer.

Obviously, prepping for a safari... Thank you.

I recently returned from Kenya and went the eVisa route.  It was effortless to apply for and I was quickly permitted entry at Nairobi.  In regards to the required photo I submitted online the same one I used years ago for my passport.  I received my visa within a week by email which I printed out.
