About the Author

Chris White is an amateur nature photographer from northwestern Vermont. He and his wife own a large maple sugaring farm and collect sap from more than 22,000 maple trees. In addition to producing maple syrup, they craft maple products at their retail shop and distribute their products all over the world. Chris has always had a strong connection to and deep love for the natural world, and uses photography as an excuse to get out and enjoy it. For Chris, there is nothing better than drifting in a kayak on a secluded body of quiet water, patiently waiting for a scene to develop before him.
