Join us in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for this exclusive workshop with landscape photographer, Bret Edge. We’ll explore Grand Teton National Park searching for the best locations for early morning and late afternoon light.
From the dramatic peaks of the Tetons to the aspen groves along Wilson Road – this workshop will focus on landscape photography and place you in the best locations at the best times to take home breathtaking images.

Participants will meet in the lobby at Hotel Terra by 4:00pm where we will do introductions and review our workshop itinerary. We'll then head to the world famous Mangy Moose for dinner before heading to Grand Teton National Park to photograph the aspen groves along the Moose-Wilson Road in warm afternoon light.
We'll depart Hotel Terra early to catch sunrise at one of the most spectacular locations in the park, Oxbow Bend, where Mount Moran reflects in the calm waters of the Snake River. After returning to the hotel and taking a couple of hours to relax, unwind, and transfer images, we'll meet in the Craighead room for the first of two classroom sessions where we will focus on developing an efficient digital darkroom workflow using the latest versions of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. We will take a break from class around noon for lunch, and will also spend some time doing group image critiques to help us develop our ability to “see” more creatively in the field. After class wraps up, we will have about an hour and a half before departing for our afternoon hike to the iconic Snake River Overlook for sunset.
We'll start the morning photographing sunrise at Antelope Flats, where colorful wildflowers provide a lovely foreground to the dramatic peaks of the Tetons. If the wildflowers aren’t at their best we’ll spend the morning photographing one of the rustic barns on Mormon Row. After returning to the hotel and having a couple hours to unwind, we'll meet for our classroom session where will will continue learning how to develop an efficient workflow in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, break for lunch around noon, and take some time for group image critiques, followed by a few hours of down time. Our final sunset shoot will be at Colter Bay, where the high peaks of the Tetons receive lovely late afternoon side light and are reflected in the crystal clear waters of Jackson Lake.
We will spend our last morning together photographing sunrise at String Lake, where the Cathedral Group and Mount Moran rise dramatically overhead. Afterwards, we'll return to Hotel Terra for a workshop wrap up, where we'll answer any lingering questions and say our good-byes.
