We will start early to capture the sun rising over the beautiful corral sandstone coast line in the eastern part of Acadia. Our focus this morning will be coastal Acadia, from seascapes to details of the gorgeous rock formations. Later in the day we will focus on some of the beautiful lakes including the picturesque Jordan Pond in the interior of Acadia and work our way up Cadillac Mountain at the end of the day to photograph this stark landscape and sunset.
We will again visit coastal Acadia this morning and photograph other areas not photographed on the first day at sunrise. From there we will head into the interior for rainforest shots and wind our way back to Bar Harbor for shots around the scenic harbor. Many other targets of opportunity will undoubtedly present themselves.
This morning we will drive north to the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and the beautiful coast on this easternmost point in the USA. On our way back we will stop in the east unit of Acadia for more coastal landscapes. This is a rarely photographed part of Acadia and will undoubtedly provide some unique opportunities.
This morning we head to the Western part of Acadia where we will photograph the famous Bass Harbor Light, which is situated on scenic sea cliffs. Good traction hiking shoes will be a requirement here.
