Visual Echoes FX-1 "Better Beamer" Flash Extender

Use of the "Better Beamer" Flash Extender will extend the distance of your flash range. It also allows for faster refresh rates and reduced battery consumption, creating a better chance of catching the action when it happens. It's lightweight, simple to attach with the Velcro strap provided, and conveniently folds flat for packing. "Better Beamer" Flash Extenders are intended for use with focal lengths of 300mm or greater.

Package includes two flash arms, fresnel lens, Velcro attachment strap, and segment of Velcro to attach to the bottom of the flash unit.

Model FX-1: For flash units Nikon SB-24, SB-28, Canon 430EZ, Canon 199d, Minolta 5200, Minolta 5200, Minolta 5400, Pentax 5000 AF, and Canon 380 (contact us for shims).

Tried it once and it worked as advertised. I used it to shoot birds in flight at a distance. The velcro strap held the assembly together well. I look forward to using more in the future.

Advantages: - Extra flash power/distance.
- Fold flat for transport

Disadvantages: - Feels flimsy; although the strap held fine, I wonder about the long term durability
