The NSN Store is awesome! I have ordered multiple things from them recently, the shipping was super fast, I even received my Beamer Keeper the day after I ordered it! They cannot be beat by any other online store. I will be ordering most if not all of my gear from the NSN Store from now on! Thanks to Greg and all involved, keep up the good work! :)

Over time I have been on both sides of the Customer Service desk, and it always amazes me that companies today do not realize how important that contact is. Especially today where so much is done via the 'Net with no personal contact Customer Service is the only point of contact between the business and the customer. Whether that contact is via the phone or email, a small bit of courtesy and helpful attitude goes a long way. For me, and I consider myself an incredibly picky consumer, good customer service is one of the things that will keep me coming back to a merchant, and this exchange has simply reinforced that NatureScapes should always be my first choice. Greg, great job with NatureScapes. I am going to take a guess that your entire organization displays the same customer-centric attitude that I see from Tara. That is apparent to me in the usability of your site and store front as well. I would highly recommend that as you have Tara as a part of your "training team" for any new Customer Service folks that you hire. I have been thinking about a pair of the NEOS for quite a long time now, well over a year, maybe even two. But I have never been able to see a pair "in person" and I am often hesitant to purchase "blind", mainly due to concerns over issues of support. This year when I saw your ad, and your excellent pricing, I decided to go ahead and try, and not only have I been happy with the product but I have also had the opportunity to experience a company that cares. Pretty darned special. So often when I speak to someone regarding specific product information I am met with a simple reading of what is already on the web site. The fact that you went to the trouble of actually doing a measurement off the overshoe, along with just your general product knowledge, is just another example of what sets you folks apart. And I can see why you would take pride in that, as well you should.

Suggested Wimberley Lens Plates for Common Lenses
Wimberley Lens Plates

The suggested plates allow enough length to easily balance your lens in almost every configuration. The plates are generally at least 3/4" longer than the mounting foot of the suggested lens. This allows you to attach a flash bracket to the top surface of the plate. But these are only suggestions. If you wish to buy a plate other than the one suggested, or if your lens is not listed below, please use the plate pictures and dimensions listed to guide your selection.

*Note: The recommendations for Sigma lenses assume the standard factory foot is installed on the lens. In some cases, Sigma sometimes installs their larger TS-41 Replacement Collar and Foot instead. Measure the length of the foot on your lens to ensure the suggested plate is correct; the plate should be about one inch longer than the foot on your lens.

Note about Optional Replacement Lens Feet:

Custom low-profile replacement feet replace the factory foot on the rotation collar of your lens and also serve as the Arca-Swiss style quick-release plate for your lens. No additional quick-release plate is needed. It makes your lens handle better on a conventional tripod head, such as a ball head, and also makes it easier to pack.

Using our replacement foot on your large lens decreases the overall height of the lens, lowering the center of gravity so that it achieves proper balance when used on a gimbal head such as the Wimberley Head or the Sidekick. Replacement feet are specifically designed to allow for optimal gimbal head performance and may be required when using specific lenses on our Sidekick.

The replacement feet are millled to slide right into an Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamp, and also have 1/4" and 3/8" tapped holes for mounting to non-quick-release tripod heads and monopods. They have the same dual safety stops and flash bracket compatibility as our lens plates.

All tools needed to replace your existing lens foot are included. Some lenses have two versions of replacement feet available - One made by Wimberley and one by 4th Generations Designs. In general the 4th Generations Designs replacement feet offer more finger clearance than the comparable Wimberley models but do not offer tapped holes for mounting to non quick release tripod heads and monopods.
