Testimonials
Just wanted to send a note of how pleased I was to find the items I needed in the store, effortlessly and w/ all the information I needed. Prices were right in line, and some items even presented a nice savings when bought together, aka the Gitzo and leg covers! Nice! My Gitzo 3531S arrived today as well as a few other accessories that's been on my wishlist, all-well packed and quickly shipped! Keep up the great work NatureScapes store!! -- Jeri Ann

Outstanding product! Mine arrived just before parting for Maine and was used on my 600mm while shooting Peregrine Falcon fledglings, when it started to rain lightly. The Lens Coat went on easily and protected both my camera body and lens very well. I was very glad I had it, because it allowed me to continue shooting with peace of mind.

This is a quality, well made Lens Jacket. It's easy to put on and does the job to protect your camera and long lens. I'm using it with my Nikon 200-400mm f/4 VR and there is plenty of room to fit a longer lens. Just be sure you have your lens settings set the way you want them before installing as they are difficult to get to once you have it on your lens.

Advantages: Keeps equipment dry.
Easy access to camera.
Nice fit.

Disadvantages: Any lens rain protection is going to make it harder to get to your lens controls and this is no exception.

Yes - it works with any gimbal or ball head - there is a near-full length velcro strip across the bottom that allows a lot of flexibility.

Anyone know if this fits properly with a 600mmwhen using a Wimberley gimbal head? The marketing materials show a ballhead.

I have multiple LensCoat products and have been very happy with them.

I often photograph birds in adverse weather conditions, including heavy wet snowfall. This product is just what I need to keep my gear dry and functioning optimally.

Advantages: Well-constructed of high-quality materials. Velcro straps in several places ensure a snug fit around the lens barrel.

Disadvantages: pricey

Great piece of equipment. I fooled around with home made rain coats for years but they all failed. I do a lot of shorebird photography in or near the surf and frequently get wet. I saw another photographer with the LensCoat Pro and knew that was the ticket.

Advantages: Affords maximum protection with minimum effort to install. FIts great on my camera, lens and WImberly head.

Disadvantages: At first I thought it was a little pricey, but it saved me an hour of cleaning sand and saltwater from my equipment and protects my valuable rig. I never leave home without it-get one-you won't be sorry.

I've used them all. This one is the best. Some are way too complex, others way too flimsy. This one achieves the right balance of ease of use and keeping your gear bone dry even in hurricane force winds with blowing water.

Advantages: Easy to put on and take off, keeps equipment totally dry, no need for weird lenses or adapters for the eye piece like some others

Disadvantages: pouch needs a loop to carry on the belt. I've already had a conversation with LensCoat about this and this will likely be incorporated soon. But even without, this is THE lens rain cover to have.

A very nice product that came in handy on a rainy trip to Alaska. It does what it is intended to do and that is to keep the gear out of the elements.

Side note: Nature Scapes was awesome, prompt shipping and good customer service!

Advantages: Fits around the tripod mount
Has a separate opening for your hand
Easy on and off
Nice pouch to store/carry

Disadvantages: a bit bulky but not bad.
