Thank you very much! I really was not expecting anything like that! What a nice touch. I read all the superb comments about your customer service on your web site but I read them with a grain of salt, I now see they are true.

For years, professional photographers have trusted PowerEx high-capacity rechargeable batteries for use in their external flash units. Environmentally friendly and less expensive in the long run, their performance is superior to alkaline, with their significantly faster flash refresh rates. The 2700mAh model is so good you just may choose to leave that external battery at home!

These batteries have been field-tested and approved by other nature photographers. The PowerEx ultra high capacity AA batteries offer a super-long run time; up to 30-40% more than some competitors! Memory free operation means you can charge PowerEX batteries anytime, and these batteries can be recharged hundreds of times.

High capacity AA NiMH rechargeable cells, 2700 Mah. After using the Powerex MH-C9000 charger the claimed capacity is reported close to advertised, approx. 2600. I expect that may improve with further conditioning as this is reported from their first conditioning. No battery comparisons done yet.

Advantages: High capacity
Reliability
Cost

Disadvantages: None yet.

This is my second purchase for these batteries and they soft charge quickly and hold their charge for a long time. I have been using them now for the last 3 years with a Canon 580 II Flash Unit and a secondary power pack with no issues.

Advantages: I cannot determine just how many flashes I may get from the flash unit and power pack above but they do last for at least 200 plus flashes and more likely may 250.

Disadvantages: None

It's one of the best battery out there for flash. I've used them with my 580EXII for years. The first pack I've bought back in 2007 is still working good. My flash retain pretty fast refresh rate even after 200 shots. The only thing I don't really like about this battery is they don't retain the charges very well. After a week or so of shelf life, the fully charge battery is half depleted. So make sure you re-charge your batteries before every shoot.

Advantages: A lot of power, long last, fast refresh rate for flashes.

Disadvantages: Short shelf life.
