I used and loved this bag for a year and a half. It fit my Canon 40D with grip, Canon 70-300 IS (non-L), Canon 18-55 IS, extension tubes, charger, and medium Giottos rocket all in the main compartment. The top compartment had enough room for small accessories, the rain cover (very useful, and included with the bag) and maybe a sandwich, but not much more. I like to be able to carry all my photo gear plus laptop, water bottle, food, and even a rain jacket if necessary. This bag simply didn't have enough extra room so I upgraded. I love the side-access and different possible strap configurations (which was why I initially bought the bag). However, the bag sits rather low on the back, even with the straps at their minimum length, and I found it somewhat uncomfortable during long hikes.

I cannot say enough good things about the Op/Tech Pro Strap I purchased a few weeks ago. I had a previous version of the Op/Tech strap on a different camera. The curve of the strap is what drew me to this one. Makes all the difference, especially if you are carrying a camera with a long tele lens.

The LensCoat BodyGuard is a camera body cover made from soft shock-absorbing neoprene, protecting your camera from the nicks, dings and scratches of accidental impact while your lens is attached. Like the BodyGuard it also keeps the camera body free from dust and dirt as well as protects it from the elements AND it reduces shutter noise. The BodyGuard CB has a clear plastic back and two plastic windows on top allowing you to use the camera with the cover on. Most buttons and switches can be accessed through the thin plastic back. The BodyGuard CB also has finger access slits on the side for additional access to buttons and switches. The shutter button can easily be depressed through the neoprene or by sliding you finger under the cover or in the slit. The BodyGuard CB goes on and off easily allowing you to change batteries and memory cards quick and easy and has access for flash and camera straps.
