Works great for packing and glad to get rid of the leather cap that comes with the lens! This is MUCH better!

Subsribe to our newsletter Testimonials Today, when I ordered the soon to be back in stock Guru backpack, I was surprised with the complimentary guarantee which accompanied the order. One reason I have enjoyed ordering from NatureScapes has been its constant attention to and care for its readers. It has long been a trusted, reliable source for me, in thanks for which I will long be a reader and a proponent of this website.
Thank you.

A little while ago I was looking for a top of the line tripod and various attachments for my lenses, etc.
The advice, suggestions and help in general I received from a staff member was excellent and made the purchase a very pleasant experience.

I bought the Kinesis L511 backpack about a year ago from NatureScapes and I love it. I use it for routinely carrying my Canon DSLR body + 1.4xT/C + EF500L. The entire "stack" (with lens hood reversed) fits perfectly with a little bit of room to spare. If I had to do over again, I'd still buy this backpack for transporting my long lens.
Advantages: Holds the entire camera+lens stack in an "assembled" configuration. The backpack is very well padded. The exterior side-pouch is great for holding smaller lenses, caps, batteries, data cards, cleaning kit, etc. The shoulder harness is fully adjustable and comfortable to wear. The bag also fits very nicely into the overhead compartment of most airliners. (But it has to go under the seat when flying on one of those little regional jets.) Disadvantages: The "standard" side pouch is not big enough to carry a second DSLR body + lens. There are other optional side pouches which can be purchased separately, but I haven't tried them yet.
