My landscapes in Yellowstone will thank you too, after a week hiking in Glacier two weeks ago the 5DII got dirty and all I have is sensor swabs for my 1DIII and 50D.
Thanks again

To get excellent photos a sturdy tripod, a ball head which does not move by a hard wind, 100 ASA or less and white balance PRE
is a must. I am very satisfied with this product taking photos outside nature as inside by events. Years ago with Hasselblad and any tripod did not give me what I wanted. After prof. scan regarding them on a computer with 100% or 200% you will know well what you have done. Since two years I am photografing with the camera the russians decided to take it in the orbit. Digital give more and other advantages as the film. I would recommend this ball head to a friend.

Overall a sound tripod ball head. It works smoothly and stays locked when its supposed to.
Advantages: Size, weight and that it locks firmly. Too many ball heads creep or slip when they've been supposedly locked. Disadvantages: I wish the handle that locks the ball was a little bigger in size. When wearing gloves it's too small to firmly grip.
