VISUAL ECHOES "BETTER BEAMER" FLASH EXTENDERS

Use of the "Better Beamer" Flash Extender will extend the distance of your flash range. It also allows for faster refresh rates and reduced battery consumption, creating a better chance of catching the action when it happens. It's lightweight, simple to attach with the elastic band provided, and conveniently folds flat for packing.

"Better Beamer" Flash Extenders are intended for use with focal lengths of 300mm or greater. To use your flash off-camera as illustrated above, a flash cord is required to connect the flash to the hotshoe, and a flash bracket system such as Wimberley can support the flash unit.

"BETTER BEAMER" AND FLASH UNIT COMPATIBILITY CHART

* No "Better Beamer" has been manufactured for the Canon 420EX flash unit. A number of photographers have been able to make the FX-1B unit work with that flash unit but it has not been approved by the manufacturer for that use. The manufacturer doesn't recommend use of a "Better Beamer" on the Nikon SB-50 due to problems with rigidity.

NOTE: If your flash unit is not listed here, measure the height of the flash head or refer to your flash manual. For those 1 9/16 inches in height, use the FX-1. For those 1 3/4 inches, use the FX-2. The FX-1B includes shims to fit units slightly smaller than 1 9/16 inches.
