I have owned the WHII for a couple of years now and have found it to be an excellent gimbal head. I use it with a 1D Mk IV and EF600 f/4L IS with and without a 1.4x II converter with excellent results. I highly recommend using the Wimberley replacement foot on whatever lens you use with it. It is very rigid and provided the most stable mounting platform.

NatureScapes ships quickly and their customer service reacted well to an issue that I caused.
Advantages: Nice selection of products arranged in an easy to find manner. Disadvantages: I had no issues with the website, the product or the customer service.

As is typical of Gitzo tripods, I lost one of the rubber tripod feet on my 2541 when shooting in snow in RMNP a few weekends ago. It's a poor design on Gitzo's part. Luckily NSN stocks the replacement feet. Service was great, order was processed and shipped quickly.
Advantages: NSN stock's the Gitzo feet which are not as easy to find at other retails outlets as you may think. Shipping was fast and service was great.

It's really irritating that a brand-new, expensive Gitzo tripod starts losing its feet within a few weeks of purchase. The replacement feet worked fine. I glued them in with caulk.
Advantages: Feet work fine. Disadvantages: Surely Gitzo can come up with a secure way to attach the feet to the tripod.
