Testimonials
Yesterday, I placed my first order from the NSN store and I have to say that I am very impressed so far. Within literally an hour after my order, the order shipped out. I dont think that has ever happened with an on line order. So thank you for the very quick service and I am looking forward to receiving the toys! :)

I purchased a Walkstool portable stool from Naturescape.net. GREAT experience. Their price was $79.99. Amazon was $10 more and B&H cameras was $5 more. Shipping is FREE. Ordered late Friday afternoon and received product around noon on Monday. I checked them out on ResellerRatings first. They only had seven ratings, buy every rating was five checkmarks. Soon after placing the order, I received an email from buySAFE informing me that Naturescape.net had, at no cost to me, purchased a buySafe “Cerificate of Guarantee” This does three things: Gurantees I get what I orderd, up to $500, or my money back, provides “identity theft protection” and a “low price guarantee” up to $100. There was a place on the buySAFE email to send a note to Naturescape.net. I send them a short note thanking them for the buySAFE guarantee. I soon received a personal note from the owner thanking me for my business and stating that he is a professional photographer. He suggested I call or email him personally if I had a questions about photography and camera equipment. I know it was a personal, rather than “boilerplate,” note because he told me how much he liked his Walkstool. That is what I call GREAT service!!! I’ll order from Naturescape.net again.

The Gitzo GT0541 6x carbon fiber tripod is an excellent choice for compact digital cameras and DSLRs with small zoom lenses. It offers an excellent maximum load capacity and good torsional rigidity at a greatly reduced weight. Series 0 tripods are the ideal solution for photographers on the move or when space and weight are key factors. The GT0541 now features an "Ultra Low" setting for lower shooting angles than previous models.

When Gitzo launched the Mountaineer tripods in 1994, they were the world's first carbon fiber tripods. featuring a 6X carbon fiber tube, made of a unique structure of six crossed layers that maximizes rigidity, vibration absorption and lightweight performance. The 6X tube has a high density structure made of top quality ultra-thin carbon fibers (7µm or 0.007 mm).

The G-Lock leg locking system increases system rigidity by 20% and allows quicker and stronger leg locking. Gitzo has added a solid machined aluminum upper disc with a new Safe Lock material that cuts vibration and improves grip between tripod and head. The upper disc can also be fitted directly to the upper casting, removing the center column for ground level photography or to save weight. All new Mountaineer tripods come with a convenient anti-dust bag for storage and packing.

ALR:
Gitzo has introduced a new Anti Leg Rotation system, which means the tripod can be opened in less than 15 seconds. Simply loosen all the twist locks on each leg at the same time, then pull the leg down and tighten the locks individually.

G-LOCK: G-Lock is the new Gitzo leg locking system. The locking mechanism has been completely redesigned in order to achieve a 20% increase in rigidity, faster operation and stronger, safer locking. G-Lock's special design also provides a gravity lock effect: the higher the load applied vertically to the leg, the stronger the lock.

GROUND LEVEL SET: This new feature allows you to remove the center column to save weight and get the camera closer to the ground. Uses existing components: the upper disc with reversible 1/4 - 3/8 bolt and the column hook assembly. Remove column and fix the disk directly to the upper casting using the column hook - no tools needed.

HOOK: This built-in accessory allows you to hang a stabilizing weight (e.g. a full camera bag or a sand/water bag) from the bottom of the tripod center column. Useful with long, heavy lenses, on uneven ground, or in windy conditions.

SAFE LOCK PLATE: To reduce vibrations and improve head locking.

RAPID COLUMN: The center column locking collar above the tripod shoulder makes it easier to adjust the column quickly. Maximum Height / Max Incl. Column Minimum Height Closed Length Leg Sections Maximum Load Capacity Weight 46.5" / 55.9" 9.8" 18.9" 4 11 lbs 1.7 lbs

OPTIONAL Pod Pads and Leg Coats which protect your shoulder while carrying are available for this tripod model. Some replacement parts for this tripod are available through the NatureScapes.Net store.
