I had a carbon fiber tripod, that had a center column. It was a little unstable with a large lense and a gimbal head. Needed to upgrad to a tripod that had no column and was stable, after seeking advice from the natureScapes, experts, I determined this was the right one to purchase. It met my needs, very well
My set up is more stable, than I had before. Brand and model was not my only consideration. Price and customer service was also a consideration. With the choice's I had, I believe I made a good choice in model of tripod and place of purchase
