Spider holster

Postby richard bledsoe on Mon Nov 02, 2009 11:10 am

The new Spider holster for carrying a ready to shoot camera on your hip is now available.

http://www.spiderholster.com.

The videos on their site are well done.

I was on their email notification list and ordered a system last night. I am excited about getting the camera off my neck/shoulder area.

I've got one on the way as well. I think it will be great for my two, sometimes three camera set-up for event work.
Best,

Ordered mine as well. The CottonCarrier is also on its way, and I've also got Black-Rapid RS-4. I will have to decide which one is best for me.
Thank you, Jim, I first noticed about CottonCarrier and SpiderHolster from your post in the Black-Rapid thread :)

Looks like a workable solution.

Seems like a pair of suspenders and a more padded belt might be nice for those pro bodies with the 70-200/2.8's

Well, the 70-200 and D3 is one combination I carry a lot with the RS-7, so I'll be trying it out on both the Spide and the CottonCarrier and I'll do a review eventually.

Just curious, don't you think the camera will flop around as you walk, especially with a flash attached?

It certainly won't flop any more than it does on a camera strap. Most of my events prohibit flash, so I hadn't given that much thought to it.
Best,
Jim
