This image was taken near Visalia in Tulare County, California. As a native Californian who spent nearly 30 years living and shooting in Utah I thought my return to California's San Joaquin Valley would be difficult. But I have found an amazing variety of agricultural subjects to shoot. The variety of products, from nuts and fruits to field crops and vineyards is truly amazing. The colors, textures, backgrounds, shapes ... I could go on.

Nikon D3s Body, 60mm Macro lens, ISO 100, f16 at 1/10s, -1 eV, Bogen tripod, ACR Raw conversion to jpg.
