magic hour with a whelk 6

Postby capecodfish on Sat Nov 07, 2009 1:03 pm

as is apparent by now i was riveted to the spot  4:00 later and still not quite sunset...the exposures are getting longer so fewer can be done  but i am enjoying the richness of the colors the longer exposure gives

Pretty light, amazing that the interior of the shell is is so well lit. Nice highlights, soft shadows.

Nice light as it dwindles, fish. I like the meeting of the whelk and rock, the lines compliment each other nicely. Yes, the well lit interior is a very nice touch and adds a lot to the image.

Good depth with the illuminated interior detail 'fish! This adds another dimension and love the soft pink light.
