Hi all...

We've been waiting a few days for internet at the new house, and wasting no time to be out and about exploring the Asturias coast near our new place. Thanks to Jose for his help and assistance so far, and looking forward to being introduced to some more new locations on Wednesday.

This beach is about a 20 minute drive from the house, then a 15 minute walk down through the fields and woods to the coast. (fun in the dark with no moon).

The light on the right comes from a number of sources.. A lighthouse, the town of Avilés and a touch of dawn.

Warp 9, Mr. Sulu! Love the pale coloring and the vortex of star trails. Cracking good night work from ALI...

Pretty cool shot.

Love the uniformity of the star trails in their circle partern.

Simply beautiful!

I don't even mind the pincushion distortion in a shot like this...

Magnificent wide view and love, love that line of rocks. Too bad about the light pollution.
