Very undecided about this image, I want to see more of the dark object, I would probably have over-exposed a little to show more of the image than just a bright moon.

This is cool...but like John P, I'd also like to see just a bit more detail in the dark object.

The lighting is perfect, but this is suffering a bit from compression (??), and the banding in the sky is a bit distracting...

This is really cool! I need to look at it on my good system (my lousy screen on my laptop makes it tricky), but I like the comp, the bright moon aand the muted shadows. Nice!

If this is a single exposure then awesome, if its a composite, I'd make the background just a slight bit brighter. I like it a lot though.

Many thanks for your comments,

Yes the compression through Picasa hosting is impacting the dark blue of the sky...

This is a single shot and as the moon was raising very fast 1.6 s was the max exposure to keep details. I have other shoots with less speed, and they are all blurry
On the post processing, I only used local exposure mode in ACR, on the island (+1/3IL) and on the moon (-1IL) with is a kind of HDR no ?

Then I will re-do my photoshop development based on your advices

Thanks again :)
